Students from Chocachatti Elementary School stole the show at the local school board meeting April 5, the Tampa Bay area Sun Coast News reports. They showed board members a parade of skills and talents they have been cultivating in their MicroSociety program in journalism, music, farming, food product making, stock raising and government. “These kids are preparing for middle school and then high school,” Assistant Principal Nick Pagano said of the 750 kids at the school. “And then after high school, it’s either college or a job.”
